HELP Turbo Boost but no power
Feels like the truck dies, gas pedal non responsive died , pull off highway, restarts no problem.
Does it again on highway exit, push accelerator to the floor, doesn't build RPM's but Turbo goes to 30 PSI and blows off lower Intercooler hose.
Make it into work babying truck, now headed to dealer for boot clamp.
Any idea why it would feel like it's running out of fuel?
Changed fuel filters last week, motor first, then frame rail used Motorcraft too.
Could it be an air pocket? I've drivin it 100+ miles since filter change, no leaks.
Thanks in advance...

Once it dies it re-starts as if nothing was wrong, no long cranking like it ran out of fuel or anything.
I've learned I can actually restart it while coasting.
Before it dies, the pedal feels like it's out of fuel, non-responsive but no RPM movement. even vigorous pumping, nothing.

oh you do have a SGII
Load up the Codes for BARO,MAP.EBP and take note of them at KOEO they need to be within 0.5psi of each other

Will do, what will this tell me is broke?
I don't see these on the scan gauge site, is there another source?

Tps will throw a cel.Check to see if the EGR valve is hung open. You could have codes that the SG cant access.

You Got it
these numbers look good so the turbo needs to be cleaned sounds lioke its sticken the veins causing an overboost condition
Now for the No start
Any New Codes???
What are you getting for ICP & IPR%
Did you try what Brickie suggested with the ICP sensor??

Odds are the HPOP is good
05+ had a problems with STC Fitting standpipes and dummey plugs
Do those things and your HPO system will be Good to go
If you were to crank the truck over and watch ICP & IPR% on SGII that will tell the HPO storey
You will probably be able to let the truck cool down and then it may start thing is hot oil is thinner and if you have a leak it caNT build enough pressure to start so let it cool down and then try you might save yourself a TOW BILL

Truck started but ran with a hesitation or noticeable stutter and no where near drivable on the freeway, so it's parked awaiting a Tow. May be contributed to stuck vanes on the Turbo. Which I'll fix once i have it home next week.
I'm comfortable the mech. won't screw me -he's a friend just not sure what to prepare for $ wise.
