I bought a 79 e250 van for 50 bucks and drove it home. It has a 460 4bbl and C-6.

So my first question is will all the brakets and exhaust manifolds off the van work on my 79 f350 460 C-6 conversion?

I will take the C-6 in and have it rebuilt with a 4x4 output shaft.

I still need a adapter for the C-6 to 205 so if anybody has one for sale please give me a call. 1 530 927 9827

do you have a 460 in your truck now? if not you will need the frame brackets one thing you may have to watch for is the oil filter it may or may not have an adaptor to change the angle for the vans crossmember and the alt brackets for a 4x4 sit higher to clear the frame jbg has them for about $90.00

 

Yes I have a 400 4spd.

I was planing on engine mounts and oil pan so far.

 

If your truck was an auto from the factory & part time it would have had a long tail shaft & adapter. If it was full time it would have had the short tail shaft & adapter.
