Crank question

So is there a different length of crank for an automatic than stick.
My new motor I can't get the flywheel on over the auto adapter any help please

There is a hub that the flex plate would bolt to, that should be removable IIRC.

So there's some adapter on the end of the art crank. That pushes the flywheel out past the adapter for an auto trans
