One of the upper mounting bolts for my rear shocks is missing and the shock is now loose. I've heard of replacing these with larger grade 8 bolts, but does anyone know what size I need? Hopefully the threaded clip is still up there, otherwise I assume that is only available from the dealer.

Having changed my shocks..I was SHOCKED (sorry for bad pun) at how small the rear upper hardware is and how FLIMSY the mounting in general is on the upper rear shock...basically sheet metal screws through a cheap THIN metal slip clip...
Given that the cheap THIN metal slip clip is that the bolt goes through...I'm not sure a grade 8 bolt makes sense since the weakest link here is the clip...over torquing the bolt will only bend that thin little screw clip...
