Reset Button
Thanks, I had thought that diesels didn't have reset buttons. That is why I was surprised to see the sticker saying there was one.
I will not be home to look at my truck for two more weeks. I the reset behind the kick panel? Do you have to remove it to access the button?
Thanks for the response.

I have also used the fuel reset button as a kill switch. Say you want to leave your Ford car or truck somewhere you don't want it stolen. You go and hit or kick the kick panel pretty hard it will trip the sensor and you will feel the button pop up.
And it is also a good way to make sure the fuel reset sensor is working correctly. I have seen where if you hit a bump or tap it lightly it will go off. I have also seen where you can hit it with a hammer and it not go off. That is not safe!! And I have also seen people that were not to bright just bypass them. Now that would just be STUPID!! But stupid people do stupid things! Sorry for running on at the mouth or should I say keyboard.

I have never thought of using it for that. You just have to hope the person trying to steal your ride dosent know about it.
