Wow, I have one in my barn, even has lights. I didn't know it was worth that much. If I sold it I could get that seat bottom foam cushion.

I don't know, those things are getting pretty rare in most parts and if you do find one, they are bent a bit. It may just bring what he wants.

Personally i wouldn't pay more than $50 for one, but in "ebay land" they typically do fetch $200-250.

I would really like to see if they actually ARE going for that or is it one of those things where someone is bidding the price up for the owner. Very common in Ebay for that to happen. Parts don't magically get expensive. But, ebay is targeting many markets. I have never seen one in my area for sale in a JY or in the locals and if I did find one in good shape I'd probably fork out $100 or so, but over $200 is a bit much. However, if one is in really good shape and I wanted original, than I'd have to think about it.

See they are nice, or you could always have this on there. Welded to the frame by the PO, but there is a D60 front axle hiding under there and a 460 under the hood....
