in other words, best to rent a pickup and the trailer and save the Aerostar, or pay one of those car haulers to transport the car.

Even with the Hellwig bar installed I would not go much beyond a yellow rubber ducky on top.

An update after receiving the proper u bolts from Hellwig and installing the sway bar and changing the front sway bar bushings all of them and adding the KYB gas shocks in the front and back.

Took a ride up to Carson City from the Bay Area via the circuitous route 50 with the new equipment. Wow and another Wow. Night and day difference, easily handling the curves with less sway and dips are now ironed out with still maintaining a smooth ride on the roadway. Felt like a teen after tuning up the old plymouth 440. To add pleasure clipped a coupon for the kyb's and will get a 40 dollar rebate for having bought 4.

Thanks Gentlemen.

BRGDS,

p.

Thanks again RojoStar for linking this instruction post for me.

Reading this thread, I see that I posted about putting the Helwig on that beautiful 1993 LA Cal Aerostar I snagged only to have some JackASS in his brand new Doge quad cab rear end me and total it just as soon as I fully completed how I wanted it to be.

It reminded me that it was first on the white 93, removed after the wreck and installed on my sister's green 96 that was just junked. Now, it's going on my Cherry 96 tan XLT.

The memories are flooding back...
