engine swap i got a 99 f150 4x4 5.4 L code will a 2003 4x4 5.4 L code swap out and match up o k

i would think that as long as you use the pcm and all the hookups off the 2003 it could, but they did change a little bit between 99 and 03... tread lightly and compare as wel as you can

you may have to swap manifolds and electronic stuff from one engine to the other but at its core the engines are the same.
