Power adjustable pedals? Wow, pimp. Maybe moving those pedals around chaffed a wire or something. Maybe someone has a schematic and you can check the connector out with a meter.

Mine did that last year. Just check that fuses41,42, 43,44,45 etc are good and in the right position on the board.
I was working on my radio, checking fuses and some way I put one of the fuses back in the wrong slot. Lost throttle and gauges.

1999-2001 have seaparate TPS and IVS. 2002-2003 the TPS and IVS are one unit.

I replaced only the TPS on my 99. Did not have to buy the whole assembly. The separate TPS is only listed for the gassers so if you want a TPS for a diesel they sell you the whole assembly. I installed a gasser TPS and it has been working fine for a couple of years. The same TPS is used on a wide range of year and model gassers.

So you're saying I could have just bought the TPS for my '01 for a gasser and didn't have to pay for the entire assembly!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Yup. But you also got a new IVS as well.

I don't know the cost of an IVS, but the combined cost for a separate TPS and IVS would probaly be close to the cost of the whole assembly.

Current online price for a TPS is $45.00. I couldn't find a price for an IVS.

When I first posted about this (LINK) people started ordering them from ED. ED said he had to take back most of them because the buyers said they didn't work. Like I said mine has "been working fine for a couple of years". So buyer beware if you order a separate TPS for your 1999-2001. And if you do buy one make sure it is installed correctly before you blame the TPS.

My 99 TPS was slightly different on the back where it engages the rotating part of the pedal. It has to be lined up right to work properly.

Where did he tap in for power during the install? Guess you don't have power there any more? Sounds like you need to look at a wiring diagram. I believe the tps comes off the pcm so hopefully that did not get messed up.
