Just bought a used 2005 F-150, got it home, went to adjust the steering wheel for my wife to try it out, and the release control lever came right off the steering column in my hand (steering wheel is now stuck in the down position and cannot be adjusted). Anybody know where I can get some instructions about how to fix this, before I tear the whole thing apart and then can't get it all back together..??

 

Run a search on here in this forum someone did this about a year ago and from what I remember it was like 2 screws and it was back together.

 

Its not hard to get to. Remove bottom plastic, and use a wrench to move the level in and out. Mine is broke unfortunately the previous owner didn't leave the part with the truck.
