BAD GAUGES

Hey guys' I been building a house and that has been taking up all my time. As most of you know i built a nice truck [old yeller] and put all the best upgrades i could find to put into the old girl. SO I THOUGHT !!!!! The gauges are from vintageusa [woodward 5'' ] FIT PERFECT. Well all i can say is DON'T BUY THESE GAUGES. First the gas sending unit went out now the speed-o meter stop working yesterday. Do you know how hard it will be to get to these gauges under the dash. OMG WHAT A NIGHT MARE !!!!!!! Got the sending unit out of the tank and caped it off. But i havn't a clue about the speed-o-meter. Maybe its just the gear in the trans. I HOPE. Anyway we havn't had any cold but the last few days has been cold as heck.Sure you snow birds are LOL at me about it being cold right now. Anyway it will just have to sit till i get time to fix these problems. Only good thing is there is a 5 year warantee on this crap. Hope all you guys are doing good and when i get the house done i'll be back. GOD BLESS TOO ALL YALL !!! DALE

no time

I just ain't got no spare time to work on it. MOM had knee replacement/building a log home/kid has dentest appointment alot lately cause she needs braces. Times like this i wish i had a wife to do the runnning around. But i have been a single parent for 8 years so brought up two fine girls [with the help of my mom] and the baby will be 18 next month. Lost part of my leg in this time but hasn't stoped me from being a dad. Green truck needs wood bed/chrome/running boards / and inside work and it will be ready for the next car show then i'll sale it to the high bidder. Hate to sale it but i really don't need it. PLUS IF ANYONE NEEDS SOME 51/52 PARTS JUST LET ME KNOW. Was going to build another truck but got other things that needs to come first. i'll make a list of parts i'll sale soon or yall can pm me and tell me what you need.

Dale, you have a lot on your plate now. Trucks can wait, and so can we. We like having you around, but family comes first. Take care of your mother and your kids. They're most important in life than any other object.

Don't get discouraged. You have done more with one less limb than most people can do.

I've noticed a problem with your speedo a couple of times now. It seems to always read something over 100 mph!!!
