guys!, i was offered some gauges for my 48' f2 and in the pictures they have what looks like a shifting range scale. they said it was from a larger truck, what size of truck had this style of gauges and would they work in my f2? they look like they are pretty decent but naturally they would need to be checked out before using them. what year speedometer cables will interchange in case the gauges don't come with it. thanks

take'em . they're the same as the ones in my 49 f-4. it has a shifting scale in the speedometer . if nothing else you can sell 'em to someone with a bigun' or use them as trading fodder later on . to what i understand not so easy to find 'em anymore for the larger trucks .

i was at the portland swapmeet and had a chance to view some of the big truck gauges, they only go to 60mph! can they change the ratio of the transmission gear output to make 30mph really 60? any ideas thanks.
