Pricing help

Hi, I'm looking at a 2012 FX4 super cab ecoboost. MSRP is a little over 44k. I'd like to think I could buy this for 34k, but that's probably a little unreasonable. Just looking for input on what you all think might be the best price I can get. Thanks

37.5 would be closer to reality, good rebates right now and if you join eaa you could get x -plan or negotiate to an x plan price, depends on market, price of gas, time of the month,etc,etc!

Go to edmunds.com and build the same vehicle order code for order code. That will give you an "invoice" price (which is really dealer cost plus holdbacks, marketing fees, etc.) That's a good place to start with a dealer - they should get pretty close to or at that number. Then, go see them, have them run the vehicle in Smart VINCENT to look for incentives/rebates/etc., carefully review them all (there are lots of little-known incentives out there... such as $500 rebate from Ford Credit for rolling at least $2K of customer adds into financing), and then negotiate pricing of any adds you want (such as extended warranty - take a quote from ford-warrantys.com for ammunition, etc.)
