I will make one suggestion and then I will go back to sleep . You should consider running your browser through a VM (virtual machine), it makes all this virus crap, worms, trojans, etc. etc. become non-existent. It is built into Windows 7, but I run one called Sandboxie.
You simply open your browser in an environment where Sandboxie runs your programs in an isolated space which prevents the browser from making permanent changes to other programs and data in your computer. The Sanboxie software is free...I also run AVG (and keep it up to date), along with Spybot (and keep it up to date). Back to sleep .
So what virus protection is everyone running who got the warning? What was the name of the worm? I checked in this morning but never got a warning, only noticed that when the pages loaded the screen went all the way to the bottom of the page.
I've got flash and ads blocked running firefox, so is that why I never saw a warning or does McAfee just suck?
