25% duty cycle.
it has a carry rating of 150 amps, and rush rating of 800 amps.
25% of 150 amps is 37.5 amps.
so that has a 37.5 amp continuous use rating. even less than a starter or glow plug relay

Tom, typically the duty cycle has to do with the amount of time the relay/solenoid is active versus inactive. This may explain it for you:
Solenoids - FAQ

That being said the usage of a solenoid for the pump motor on a snowplow is different than the usage of a solenoid for the glow plugs on a truck. I wouldn't use the Boss solenoid myself...

i know how it works Chris, i was putting it in an easy to comprehend way.

that relay is good for 800 amps flash or about 2-3 seconds of 800 amps.
150 amps at 25% or 150 amps for 15 seconds of every minute.
or 37.5 amps continuous duty.

I don't have a relay, I have a Glow Plug Control Module. They came in excursions and CA models.

Basically it acts like a relay for each plug individually. They do go out sometimes, mind did. But only one plug was affected.

That interested but consider plow pump actually use more amp than starter.
