Trailer wiring help...

Looking to add the wiring to my truck

Tow Ready T-One Connector Wiring Light Kit 118316 Is that the correct T-connector?

Then I'd like to add this: Hopkins 7-Way and 4-Flat Multi-Tow Connector LM-47185

Also anyone have a good opinion on a brake controller? The trailer uses a 7-blade pin connector and is dual axle with electric brakes.

My buddy (the trailers owner) uses this one:
http://www.amazon.com/Tekonsha-90195.../dp/B000P17NXQ

He loves it, it's VERY smooth. I've been with him while towing and you can't feel when the trailers brakes engage/disengage.

Lemme here your opinions!

-Mike

Your light connector choices seem to be correct if the vehicle in your signature is the intended victim. Personally I'd cut/splice/solder/heat shrink the T-connector to the 4/7 trailer receptacle. Can't speak to the controller as I haven't used that one.
