You can push on the brake peddle and hold, like stopping on a down hill grade, and the peddle will never go further down towards the floor. That's my understanding, although I'm not a brake expert.

Some times I hate my parts store! Got my vac pump yesterday but still no pully puller.

Power steering pulley puller is all you need. "Borrow" one from the loan-a-tool program at Autozone.

dont forget to install the bolts in the new pump BEFORE you press the pulley onto the new pump.

I solved that problem I put studs and lock nuts
