08 headlite operation-school me please
I'd like to mount a remote on/off swx to the headlite (Hi/Lo) circuit into an
08 F-250,..this vehicle has Auto headlites and foglites in the factory swx.
Looking at the schematic in Mitchell On-Demand, I thought I should be able to simply tap into the high beam circuit at the swx...a closer look at the vehicle swx reveals some solid-state stuff inside... the schematic shows a simple analog swx... I realize I'd better stop where I was and put this thing back together before I fry or blow something expensive up..Then I ran into time constraints and didn't get a chance to do anymore research on the headlite system with the Michell system before the weekend was here. Now I'm left with a nagging question in the front of my head...we've all been there

So the question is., can anyone school me on the headlite circuit operation?? Looks like some low voltage (5 volt) acknowlegement going on at the instrument cluster.
Any circuit logic/theory would help. Thank's! in advance!
