head casting number???

don't know about the casting number on the head, but I don't really know what you would need that for. Are you talking about the serial number for the block? That's the main number most people want to know so they can find out build dates for head jobs.

Just trying to figure out if the heads would fit on a 2004 block with the number 1843080C2. Head number is 1855613C1 I think they will as long it is the complete head ,rocker box, oil rail and so forth. What do you think?

The real limiting factor is the 18 or 20 mm dowel pins for which they provide "adapters". I'm sure there are some other things that might need to be addressed but the heads should fit.
