Darksider? Me?

Damned straight! As much as I love FORD, I believe that, in 1956, they sold some great raw material and basic plans.. I was fortunate enough to get my F250 shell after someone else commited to a very dark existance.

My cab was chopped 4 inches and set on a 74 F250 Hi-Boy chassis.... I ditched the chassis, put it on a more sensable chassis ( 92 Crown Vic chassis/4.6L/AOD drivetrain ) and now I have to custom build EVERYTHING...
widening front fenders (2inches)
grafting in rear wheel arches to front fenders (an inch taller and about 1-1/2" longer) to clear my massive wheel and tire combo.
Custom bed sides and floor... entire box being built off of a F250 tailgate and fenders (pie cut and widened 3 inches)
custom built running boards.

I have a hood punched with 164 louvers
I want a set of f250 hood badges

not sure if I will run a factory grille or not.. leaning towards quad round headlights and a custom grille.....

I have some special touches planned for the interior. some secrets in the works..

It is not easy trying to do something unique and different to the most customized FORD truck there is, but I am trying my hardest. And I am doing this all for about the cost of a well built sbc.... but the only time a sbc will be in my truck, is if I haul one for my cousins.... they are followers of the bow-tie brigade.... sad, but true.

Do not take the term "DARKSIDER" as an insult, take it as a challenge... can you do something that nobodys else has?

Now, now, not to worry,we all have skeletons in the closet.

And some are out of the closet. And some I wish would go back in.

Even old Henry didn't stop with the Model T.... I live on the Darkside and proud of it... Some say that fiberglass fenders and running boards are on the Darkside if you ask me....
