I'm currently running the tow setting on my edge and it's shifting fine so we will see. Idling in park is still a little rough but idling in gear with my foot on the brake is smooth
If you have not done so, spray clean the throttle plate and inside body.
The plate is just cracked open a small amount by the throttle stop setting and is part of the air flow total amount the IAC has to relate to.
The stop setting is usually made to effect a 'base' idle of about 500 RPM +/- with the IAC plug off at idle.
The IAC works at and keeping idle at 750+/- 50 from the throttle plate reference opening.
As a note to all, never use the throttle stop setting to set final running idle. It is only for reference AND to keep the plate from sticking in the bore after the motor has cooled.
