Hello, I need to get some tires for my truck, 2004F350 4x4 CC, I'm not really hauling or pulling anything big. I have Goodyear Wranglers on it now, size LT 265/75r16. I wasn't really happy with the Goodyears, any suggestions on a good tire and what is the biggest size I can go on the factory rims?
Thanks alot!!!

My favorite tire is the BF Goodrich T/A KO. We have them on our 1986 F150 and I like them alot they never go even when you try your hardest flat trust me I tried alot times. They do good when you are hauling and are a good thread design. The General Grabber AT2s are no good we have them on our 2002 F250 and they suck. We are running 285 75 R16 but I think you could go bigger.

did you have the Goodyear Wrangler Duratrecs? they have been getting great reviews
Otherwise, I would recomend going up one size to a 285/70R16 BFG AT KO are good too
Try looking up Nitto Terra Grappler and Hankook Dynapro ATM

I run Hankook Dyna pro ATM tires. 285/75/16. They have been great. No issues with traction and the last set gave me 55k on them. We run gravel 80 percent of the time to and it tears your tires up fast if you have soft tires. I had a set of coopers and they lasted 23k.
I have the Cooper Discoverer S/T Maxx on my truck. I love them.. been doing great in all types of condition from mud to heavy snow. about 10k on them and wearing like iron. not too loud either, i would highly recommend them.
I have to put the t/a ko's on top of my list, then the Cooper ST's, then the goodyear duratracks. I would have to stay away from the Big O brand. I only got about 10k out of them. My BF Goodrich t/a ko's lasted about 25k IIRC. I've got the coopers on one truck and the duratracks on another, only about 3k each, but in these winter months they grab the road really well. The duratracks do talk some, but my engine is kinda noisy anyway. The T/A's are a great all around tread, from highway to a little off road. The rest are a more aggressive tread, and I fear that they won't last doing mainly highway. I just got a real good deal on them, but buyers remorse set in and I wonder if I didn't save anything.
a tire that i really like is the toyo open country M/T that come in 255/85/16. they are 33s, but are great for pulling and have good traction. they are expensive, but BFG makes the same size for less i just cant remember the name. i would love to have some 255/85/16s on my 99, but i need a leveling kit first. ive heard of people putting up to 315s and even 325s on stock rim. i wouldnt wanna do it, but people do. they just tend to wear a bit more in the middle.
