Help with computer coding(ECU)
I have a transplanted 01 V10 PI engine in my 99 F350 with the 01 Trans also and truck runs horribly due to the fact that the 99 ECU has EGR and the 01 does not and has a slightly different fuel map? than the 99. Can someone get the code off the 01 ECU on their truck and tell me which computer I need to get?
It's a 2001 auto, 4x4, V10, PI, no EGR, headers, 3" exhaust, Airaid intake....anything else you need to know? I do not have the vin from the donor truck but if necessary I can get #s off the new engine this weekend if that helps.
Also I used the engine harness off the 01 sono issues there. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
