My attempt at repairing my plastic supply line from from my front tank
went south.
Therefore is there any reason why I cannot replace it with a fuel injection
rubber line? Also can anyone tell me what the fuel pressure is from the tank
to the selector valve? I am planing to double clamp both ends.

Yes, the Rubber Fuel Injection hose will work fine and basically your only way to go since the plastic lines are no longer available. I have built several Broncos with EFI and what we run is Rubber EFI hose from the tank all the way to the engine.
You have the older efi engine with the lowpressure fuel pump in the tank, and the higher one on the frame rail. I believe the pump in the tanks put out around 9 psi, and the one on the rail is around 39psi.
You can actually take 3/8 hose and clamp it around the plastic line and it will hold.
I do not like running rubber fuel line the whole way from the tank to the engine. It's prone to collapse, it for some reason seems more prone to vapor lock, and it will need more maintenance than a steel line.
Just go to the store and buy some lengths of universal steel fuel line. It comes with flared ends with nuts. If you make gradual bends, you can bend it by hand, and tie it up to the frame. It looks much better, and lasts a lot longer than rubber hose. They also sell couplers, so you can piece 2 or 3 pieces together to make it the whole way and also make it easier to install in tight spots.
Alternately, Dorman does make compression coupler fittings for 5/16 vinyl fuel line, so you can patch in or replace segments with vinyl line without using the heat/soak/press method. If you cannot find these, as not alot of places stock them, last time I needed some for my 85 f150 I bought 2 quantity 5/16 compression couplers from Lowe's, along with 2 qty 3/8 line inserts (the brass nipples that go into a compression coupler to support flexible line). I trimmed the OD of the 3/8 inserts to fit into the 5/16 couplers, then assembeled everything using the 3/8 instead of the 5/16 inserts, and it fit perfectly.
When I spliced some lines after replacing my tank select valve, I used rubber fuel line and just pushed the plastic line into the rubber line an inch or 2 and put a hose clamp over that. I considered looking for some inserts but ended up not using any. Working fine for a couple of years now.
