Does anyone know where I can find a body lift kit for my 1996 F-250 7.3L diesel truck? everywhere i look on the internet they have lift for non diesel f250s
Thanks,
Camryn
You might make a phone call to one or more of these companies. A live person will be able to tell you if they will indeed fit, or why they don't. Then you can post here and let us know!
Brown Falcon had one on his truck for a while. I am not sure if he purchased it himself or not, but I think he did the install. He might be a good one to ask.
I see the '97 F250/350 dually but I don't see the issue. Order the one that is listed as 92-96 F100/150/250/350. That one will work. I honestly don't think there is any difference in the frame horns for the diesel core support, but I cannot verify that from first hand experience.
probally referring to them overheating with the fan misaligned, at least thats what ive heard
Either that or I would think using a fifth wheel or goose neck hitch would be a little problematic with a body lift holding the bed that far above the frame. You would have to come up with a "field engineered" way to make it so the hitch plate or rails were putting the weight on the frame and not on the bed.
