Cool shifting problems
my transmission has been shifting hard and slipping for about a year and finally it went out so i bought a used one with low miles and put it in and it shifted decent for a day or two then it started the hard shift again its like a really bad jerk when it shifts but this time it only does it sometimes it could be a bad tranny or maybe some kind of sensor or someting any help? thanks Jonathan

Sounds like it might be a sensor. Is the fluid nice and red? Does it smell burnt?

fluids as red as outta the bottle doesnt smell burnt to me do you know what censor it could be?

Ok before I go any further. I need to know. year/model/ 4x4?/ect. And also what trans you have.

Here's how to tell if you don't know.

ok. It could be a shifting solenoid, or the range finder. Is the CEL light glowing, or the OD lockout light blinking?

the od light actully stoped working the button still works just no light on the off switch
