Ranger Gear Ratios

Hi everyone, I have a 94 4x4 ranger with a 4.0 L engine. I'm planning on lifting it up 6 inches this summer and putting on 35's. I'm stumped as to what gears I should get. I'm deciding between the 4.11's or the 4.56's I want half way decent mpg but I still want some power. Is there a big difference between these gears ? Tell me what you think

There is not a huge differance in the gears, but if you are going to spend the money, 4.56s would be better in the long run with 35" tires. They will also get you closer to your stock RPM range.

They use 4.10's with 30.5 inch tires.(what my 2002 ranger came with)
I would use 4.56(min) or 4.88's with 35's.
The whole point is not doing it twice because its about 400-500$ an axle to change (parts+labor)
