exactly.....either way you have to buy new plenums....by the time you get the bellowed uppies and 38r and new intake spider and pedestal youre dang near at the h2e cost......alot of people run and like irates setup.....i run carson stauffer's.....there are minimal differences but i chose carson's because of his new oil drain design....its a threaded flex pipe in the original location versus the middle of the valley return....both kits will be nice.....
You have to get a new spider and bellowed up-pipes for the 38R? I thought it was pretty much a direct swap out? Or is that only if you're going for over 400hp....Info appreciated-

That's going from an early 99 setup to late 99-03 style....the early 99 or e99 has a few differences so to run a 38r you have to convert.....
If anybody is considering an h2e or similar turbo kit there are quite a few companies working on much better kits than irate's kit and Carson stauffer's kit.

And what do you mean by better?? Better quality or do mean costs less? And what companies are doing this? Because somewhere down the road the H2e is the set up I would like to run. Thanks

Better quality. Cast intake spiders that simplify the system. Price wise they are gonna be in the same range.
Basically doing all the things that hypermax should of done.
And custom built chargers.
Basically someone looked at how the cummins game works and is trying to bring those kind of options to us
The bellows I got on line, the Y pipe I modify the stocker...
I have about $200 in parts to build the entire kit.
Joe Nice job on you up pipe set up. Do remember who you got the bellows from? And what brand they were. The reason I ask is I am modding my stock up pipes and the only bellows I have found that actually have the inner locking liner was by Vibrant but I like the style of bellows you used better. The ones you used have a nicer end flange on them. Did they have the inner liner in them?
