So I don't know if it's my starter or what. I have a 2000 V10 Ex with 140k. Drove it over to my friends place and when I went to leave it won't start. So I put it in Netural then tried to start it and it just gave me a click sound. All the lights are on inside the ex and the dashboard lights up too. Now when I try to start it same thing but when I take the key out the interior lights flash and there is a clicking sound coming from the fuse box. I checked to make sure the fuses where all pushed in and tried again. Same thing... Any ideas?

All the lights work inside and outside of the car. I also hooked up jumper cables and slapped the other end together and got sparks.
That's not exactly a good test... The starter needs amperage to do its job.
I suggested battery because my PSD's make all kinds of racket under the dash when batts are dead.
Do those lights stay bright when trying the starter? Can ya just get a jump from another vehicle and see what happens?
If you get it started by jumping it, go to an autoparts store or even walmart service center (anyplace that sells car batts) and have them perform a load test on battery and verify charging system is working properly.
Well took the battery out and took it to auto one and the battery had no charge. So in about an hour I'll know if the battery is old or what. Guess I shouldn't have listen to the guy next door when I asked him for a jump...I'll keep you posted.
So the battery was charge by autozone and then they said that the battery was good to go. I hooked it back up and bam the ex started right up! So next thought was the alternater. We tested that next and it came up at 14.3 which they said 14.4 was factory. I replaced the starter solenoid while I was at it, mainly cause it was 15 bucks, so I am not sure what's up. The only thing is now the turn signals don't work and the cruise control won't turn on...guess it will be a step by step process until I figure it out.
