LUK clutch upgrade NOT HAPPY

Okay so the 01 f350 has 106,000 miles on it and I have heard bad things about he original clutch so I decided to go with the LUK upgrade clutch. I bought it from napa and it came with the flywheel clutch disk pressure plate throw out bearing and all the hardware. After wrestling that heavy 6 speed for hours and hours we finally get it all back together. The clutch is much easier to push down and I dont hear that clunk each time i let out on the clutch like I did with the old set up (the center of the clutch disk was worn and loose) What I am not so happy about is that I can slip the clutch in all 6 gears if I get on it. I dont drive like an idiot either I most generally baby it, but I think that is ridiculous, what is it going to do when I hook up the gooseneck trailer and put my 54 f600 on it??? If I can slip the clutch at 55 with no trailer how am i going to tow with it??? I thought these clutches were supposed to be much better than the stock ones.

Sounds to me like the throwout isn't coming off the fingers. That could be causes by an issue with the hydraulic clutch system or something just doesn't fit right.

Old thread I know...

Was the slave not releasing from the pressure plate?

Installed a Luk 11" with M5OD and had to use the bolts to draw in the last half inch, and am worried now...
