F600 brake specs
Not sure on year of truck. Guessing '64-'65. Vin is F60AN588321 axle f8. I am working on rear brakes. Drums look pretty worn. Any ideas on acceptable thickness of drums or max diameter? Appear to be 15x5 shoes. Also how thick is friction surface on shoes when new? Not really sure if drums this large can be turned and if so would the adjusters move enough to take the slack. When i got the truck it had no pedal. Found that brakes were way to far out of adjustment. Had back off adjusters even more for shoes to clear lip on edge of drum. If anyone has a shop manual on this truck that would be great.
