So far so good

Things done to the tuck so far.

New,
Brake Booster
Brake Master Cylinder
Brake calipers
Wheel Cylinders
Pads and Shoes
Inside rear view mirror
Bench seat cover
MSD Blaster II Coil
All new fuel line and filters run in series (Junk in old tanks)
Tune up- i.e. Plugs, oil filter, carburetor rebuild
65 group size battery and mount
Power steering hoses
Starter

Newwish,
Bench seat and replaced the crappy bucket seats that were there

Things also done.
Ripped out all old carpet and insulation, removes rust found in floor board.
Truck bed lined the interior floor.
Fixed lighting, inside and out. Including dash
Built bushings for power steering power assist cylinder.

This is not too bad considering I have had 2 complete days off since I bought the truck. At this rate I think it will really come along well. Was able to bleed the brakes through reading though old posts here. Proportioning valve has probably seen better days.

Here is how he stands. Soon to come are wheels and tires. Another not dented bed found for the truck for $100. Body work and at least a prime. Engine swap is being saved for. The rest of the truck is getting ready.

Great progress! It's always nice when you start to see the light at the end of the tunnel. But I'm sure you know by now we never seem to get completely done with our rigs. Looks good!

I never plan on being finished with any project. By 'finished', that would mean sold to me. haha

I don't know if it looks good, but it's just ugly enough in the right places to make it interesting to look at.

The appearance will be the last thing to be addressed on the truck. Drives my girlfriend crazy, but that's how I do things. There will be sleepless nights and plenty of blood into this project before the paint goes on.

This was a Colorado truck for a long time. But, seems to have been here in AZ long enough to not have any major rust.

I hear ya on ther not ever finished idea. You have got a nice place out there in AZ for rust free parts. I got a set of rust free front cab mounts from a place out there called "Driven Auto Parts".
