oops wrong one.... i ment it for this one
now what if u have a ultra gauge on one side and maybe a mikes sct tuner on the other... will that clash or work together!

The first review of the adapter states: I needed to augment my dashboard with digital gauges (Scangauge II, Ultragauge, etc) and still retain a connection for a portable code reader. This cable satisfies that need quite well.

I have a sort-of-related question about Scangauges. I have a SGII and really like every thing about it--except that I cannot also get EGT display.

So, the question is: Should I get a stand-alone EGT gauge or should I buy an Edge Insight with EGT probe and then sell the SGII? I think the Edge Insight could replace all the gauges read by the SGII(?), plus allow the EGT to be displayed.

I had the Bullydog Outlook on my 7.3L. Loved it. It is only a monitor. Worked very well. You may well know that you have to have the EGT temp sensor installed to monitor EGT's no matter what gauge you use.

Yes. The pyrometer will definitely have to be added. And...the Edge Insight CTS is $400 plus pyrometer ($100) that plugs directly into CTS plus the mounting fixture for dash *($50). Basically, a $550 solution to make a very nice monitor of engine conditions. How about the Bullydog Outlook?

The Bullydog to get now would be the Watchdog. Very similar to the Edge, but less money. Bully Dog Outlook Vehicle Monitor

That seems like a pricey solution to me. You sure you can't add a pyrometer and use the SGII? How much would a stand a lone guage run? I know I'm cheap. I have a stand alone transmission guage thats the only reason I haven't bought a SGII yet. Good luck, John

Ultragauge is only $70 or so. Then add a pyrometer with probe for $150 or so. That setup would tell you anything and everything you could need to know for less then $250.
