Lightbulb 255 cid 4.2L V8

I am restoring a 1979 f100. The engine is a 255 cid 4.2L v8. I have been unable to find any aftermarket performance parts for this engine configuration. Would I be better off swapping motors?

255 cid 4.2L V8

the motor is not original. i know the block and bell housing is the same as a 302. go over to the small block forum for more info.

255? ewwwww they are based on the windsor 302 are different in alot of key areas, so parts wont interchange. Make a good boat anchor!
