Hmm, I wonder is someone wired it straight up with no fuse? Do you have a fuse in the box for it?
You know, i am not sure, i don't remember seeing one when i was poking around but i wasn't looking for that anyways. The PO did some work though, i have an aftermarket switch on the dash for the window and the key switch was bypassed. I went in and removed the shoddy twisted wiring the PO had and Put in some fresh wire in the tailgate, i wired the old switch back up but it wasn't allowing power to the motor through it so i re-bypassed it. It might be cause because my latches don't work My tailgate is held on by 2 side mounted latches:
They look really tacky and are annoying but i can't really do anything about it now with all the rain coming. Once we get sunshine i have to pull the top off and put new clips in so that i can have more than 4 bolts holding my top on but with our chances of rain in Washington i would have to carry a tarp and bungee cords around all day... Anyways once i get the top off i can look at replacing those mechs in there.

I have since hooked it back up but have found the key switch is still bad along with the window limit switch. Any idea where I can get either of those?
For the key switch you might have to try fixing it or looking in the local pick a part JY, i didn't see any on RockAuto or JBG bu they may have them else where. I don't know what the limit switch is so i can't help.
