WTb 56 F100 cowel vent lever

Good day all. Firstly, i'm in the UK.
I'm looking to buy the cowel vent operating lever and any associated brackets if anyone has them to spare. I know it's quite often a chosen route to weld them shut/plate over, hence asking on here. Basically, I have the vent itself, and the hinges. Nothing else.
I'd also be grateful if anyone has any images of the vent operating handles?
Many thanks for your time, it's greatly appreciated.

Regards

Tom

I, too, am subscribing to this thread as I have been unable to find an accurate diagram/picture of the vent lever/brackets, etc..to make it functional.

If they used the same setup on the 56, that they used on the 54...here you go:

Is that what you were looking for?

Thanks for taking the time to post that, it's greatly appreciated! I can make something that will work from those photos if needed, but ideally I'd like to buy the proper parts! I have time on my side at this stage!

I have the arm and curved piece from a 55. I used the brace for my power vent motor.

Good evening Sam, thanks for your reply. I am definitely interested in those parts. The brace i can make easily.Would you be kind enough to post a photo of exactly the bits you have for sale or scribe on the already attached images? How much would you want for them, and obviously postage will be fairly pricey! Please advise, and let me know how best to progress this!

Thanks again.

Regards

From my understanding the basic difference between the 53-55 and 56 was the changing of the lever handle/****. In 56 they had a ball ****. I have a complete lever, arm and even cowl vent if you need that out of a 54. Send me a pm with an email addy and I can email you pics, etc. Thanks.

P.S. Making that curved arm correctly makes a big difference in whether it operates correctly. There is a slight offset in the curved piece that probably makes a difference. For the price I wouldn't hassle making one. Just my opinion.

Sam, Thanks for taking the time to do that. That's exactly what I am after. Want to trade? I think I have the under dash brace. I'm 99% sure I have seen it in my pile of parts!
