I guess the first question would by why you may need a larger oil filter. The FL1995 from motorcraft is about as large as they come for regular use. Once in a while I use a K&N filter but they are basically the same filter. If you are looking for better filtration you might go with AMSOIL - By-pass Oil Filter Mounting Kits I bought this unit and I still need to find some time to get it installed. Are you limited to just what is available at your local NAPA store? They don’t even sell motorcraft at the NAPA near my house; they just have napa, nascar, and K&N
I am currently 5k into my BHOF... I will be sending out a UOA at 10K and report back... but I expect the results to be better than the OEM filter, based on the filter's specs.

For the price of that filter and along with 20 buks, you can create/install a by-pass oil filtration system, and extend your oil change intervals, greatly...just say'n

piece it together. Springerpop and WoodNThings, has a great write-up on what used and where to find. I, went thru Fleetfilter.com, got my filter and filter base for 30 buks. The fittings i add extra from my wvo set-up, and same as the tubing used, which is bio-fuel line, rated at 120psi, which i found is nothing more than the r9 fuel line from Autozone. You can get Napa to rig you up a set of fittings/hoses, but now your talking around 100 buks for that giddyup, and then the base/filter...you can check out my album oil-bypass.
