Is that downhill with a nice wind blowing behind? Jk
For giggles I put my garmin to the test and did an accurate mpg test. 15.0 That is both city/highway. Not bad

15's not so bad. I get 11-13.7 in my half ton with a big six. Could be better.....some day it will be.

11-13.7 for a six? Wow, I would have expected much higher than that.

Good Morning Northern California! Rise and shine! Today is the first day of the rest of your life! So go out there, and make the most of it.

A big-ish cam, 4bbl, low compression, and draggy (warped)drums all factor in.
Day 2 of a 3 day weekend...yay.

I noticed the .518" lift, not conducive to good mpg. So, does it at least have the power of a 302?

Oh yeah. It can beat a 302, probably even with the highway gears I got in it. It may have a little less mpg, but it has lope:

Holy cow Batman! That is one mean sounding six! How do you not get a ticket for running a straight pipe?

It wasnt all that bad. It only lasted for 3 days and got too annoying. It has dual 2" and dumps after the glasspax. Well worth the $135 to make it lope.

Yes indeed sounds mean. When I get mine, it will be a daily driver, so I want to upgrade for better mpg. Was going to go with a package deal from Clifford, but was told by a fellow FTE'er to stay away from Clifford now as their quality has tanked, and they don't stand by what they sell. So I guess I will do the Holley/Offy/Hooker route. With a much milder cam than yours of course, so it will obviously not sound that mean.
