I am trying to add pictures for my garage, etc and cannot seem to add them. What is the secret?

Thanks

Click "Garage" on the blue banner, next to Log Out.

your garages are listed at the top of the list..

click 'Add photos', next to which ever one,

on that page at the bottom is 'Upload Pictures', click that, and
scan for the 3 photos at a time to upload..

Tried that and it keeps saying my upload failed. I believe my pics are two large and I don't know how to reduce their KB size.

If you don't have photo editing software on your computer to downsize them then you can use any of the free photo uploading websites like photobucket or the like.

In Windows, right click on the picture and select Edit, then resize smaller, then save, then upload again..

FTE puts a small limit on the source file size, altho it now auto resizes after upload..

Since I picked up a new phone which has a good camera, I've had to resize pictures to post them. I usually use my digital image software to size them to 1024x768 pixels (the max allowable size).

Yeh, my phones default picture size is set to 3meg. amazing stuff..

But we know it can be done.. my wife can post to facebook!.. from her phone!!.. no discussion of these technical details..

so it is quite easily done.. now I agree that this extra data puts a demand on the system "more storage, more bits to flow across the web server and network".. but user experience has become everything.. those that miss this point end up suffering big time eventually..

Thanks to those that mentioned the resizing of the pics.
I was actually able to post photos in my album now.
Yipeeeeeeee.
Don't judge them to hard though.
