I have an '05 F350 with a 4.5" Icon lift on it. Never in 120K miles have i experienced death wobble. I just started to get it, so I went under the truck and had someone cycle the steering. I noticed that the icon trackbar rod end had a little play in the bushings. I ordered them and they should be in today, hopefully that will fix the issue.
My question though, is why did ford use a trackbar bolt that is soo much smaller than the ID of the bushing, either stock of aftermarket? I have heard of people drilling the stock bracket to accept a larger bolt that fits in the bushing tighter. But I can't come up with a good reason whhy ford wouldn't have a correct size from the factory?
