New high-back bucket seats

Just thought I would share some pics of my re-upholstered high-back bucket seats for one of my 79 Bronco's. The seats turned out great and are truly awesome!!

Looks nice, I usually hate red interiors, but it works on the 78/79 rigs nicely.

Agreed.

I'm very thankful my red/red Bronco has a black interior, but I would take that red interior in that 79 in a heartbeat.

Looks great!

They look awesome. I too am not a fan of red, but it looks great in your Bronco.

I'm jealous.. still haven't got my seats right. How much did it cost you to redo them?

I'm curious also if they fit the newer body styles.... The dual armrests are the greatest thing ever. I'd like to have a set of those in heated leather fit my 92... Nice seats guys!

I am not 100% sure so I will get some measurements for you and let you know. I have a couple of 96 EB's so I can check to see. Even if the bolt holes from the bracket to the floor are different, I am sure you can just remove the seats (using your 95 bracket) and bolt the seats to your bracket...But I will investigate further!!

Well I got the material from SMS which is quite pricey but they are the only "true" OEM supplier for this material. All together, I have around $1000. in the 2 high back bucket seats.

That would be great if you found that out, i'm sure it vwouldn't be hard to modify it anyway. My girlfriends dad had an 79 sitting out back at his farm I could get the seats from. My girlfriends cousin also does upholstery work too so maybe I lucked out and fit a good lady on my hands haha

A lot of guys over on FSB.com talk about swapping seats out their bronco's only to use something different. Seems most of them like the Excursion/Expedition/F250, F350 swap. A few also talking about using E-van's...I guess it just depends on "what" you want. You might try a search on this site to see some examples of seat swapping threads...?
