It's been awhile, refresh my memory why my truck is doing this....
I drove the crew cab Sunday to get a feel for it got home and put the chip in.The truck has an ALF4 pcm, The chip is burned for a TDE1. The ALF4 is a manual pcm, the TDE1 is an auto. Last I knew you could run an auto pcm/chip in a manual truck no problems but now as soon as it starts it lopes real bad till you rev it. Does it hot or cold.
Should I just put the TDE1 pcm/chip combo in or just get the chip reburned? What's the "best" manual trans pcm code.
Thats what I figured I would have to do. so whats the lates and greates manual trans code, and does anyone have a list of PCM codes around? I recall seeing such a list 3 years and 3 computers ago so the odds of me having in bookmarked somewhere are long gone.
Ever since I got my chip from Tony, it will lope like that when I switch from a higher hp tune to a lower hp tune. Other then that, the truck runs like a champ. Anyone else have a problem like this? Maybe I just have to clean the contacts a little more...
