Modules on firewall?

Modules on firewall?
What are the modules or computers on the firewall? They are located kinda below the brake booster. I think my short is coming from one of those. I can hear a hiss when the fuse is plugged in.

The PCM goes through the firewall below the brake booster. The IDM is forward of it, on the fender well. The other major bundle of wires in the firewall next to the PCM (toward the right side of the truck) is the main wire bulkhead through the firewall.
Which fuse are you plugging in that is causing the hissing noise? And in what key position are you hearing it?

If it were me, I would unbolt those connectors (one bolt in the middle of each one holds them together) and inspect them for corrosion and loose connections. All you need is a 10mm socket and a flashlight.
