Mission accomplished. It took all day..(well.. not really) because I didn't know what I was doing. I started at about 10:00 and took plenty of breaks going back to the computer plus lunch etc. That also included going to Harbor Freight and returning the broken balljoint press and getting a new one to finish.. spending over an hour trying to press them out the wrong way doesn't help very much. Once I realized what I was doing wrong it took a couple hits with a hammer to remove them I think the 4wd instructions confused me. My balljoints are pressed into the axle, and I had to press the bottom one in first. On that write up on the 4x4 front end the balljoints are pressed into the spindle assembly and the top one has to be installed first. It also shows the balljoint nuts pointing up, while mine are pointing down. Plus it says they have a snap ring on the lower balljoint.. I have one on the upper and lower. (that didn't confuse me, i'm just pointing out another difference).
The removal of the brakes, spindle, etc. was really insignificant.. it only took like 15 minutes removing that stuff. Putting it back together took a little longer, applying new grease and replacing the "wheel seal". Just for the extra tidbit of information, the camber bushing was a 0* unit. Now that I know how to do it I know I could do the other side MUCH faster.
Now I just have to replace the tie rod end on that side and I can get it aligned so it stops eating up the front tires!

Feel free to make another one (write-up) that you feel is more accurate, we'll post it here on FTE somewhere.
I thought about that after I was done. I'll make a step by step guide if I have to do the other side or redo this side. However the other side is pretty solid. Let's just hope my cheapo balljoint doesn't fail anytime soon.
