Excursion features a unique rear tri-panel door system. A one-piece upper liftgate permits quick access to the cargo area, offers an unobstructed rear view from the driver's seat through an auto-dim rear view mirror,
and includes an intermittent single wiper and window defroster. Two lower cargo doors swing open approximately 180 degrees for maximum and unobstructed access to the cargo floor, with detents to hold them open at angles of approximately 105 degrees.
