Limited Vs.Eddie Bauer edition

I now have a 2000 excursion limited edition. I'm looking to sell it a get a newer one. What's the difference between a limited edition and an Eddie Bauer edition? Is it just the two tone leather ? Thanks. I'm looking a 04 or an 05.

Thanks

The primary difference I found between my two limiteds and my EB was that most of the things on the limited were options on the eb...

my 05 eb had everything both my 02 and 03 limiteds had,
just they were extra cost options (though from a lower base price)
and didn't have the limited name

oh yeah, and the 2 tone leather and paint

I would agree with everything said here. Both my '04 EB and '02 Limited had the exact same items on them.

It also seems like since '05 was the last year, most dealers ordered
EB editions equiped with:

* Steering Wheel controls for radio and cruise

* Eddie Bauer Premier Group (includes heated seats, memory driver’s seat, memory adjustable pedals, deluxe steering wheel with dual A/C and audio controls, Homelink®, AM/FM stereo with in-dash 6-CD player)

Which makes them nearly identical to the limited standard equipment.

The main difference is the limited is uni-color exterior vs. arizona beige
trim on the EB.

The Limited as a secondary side blade on the sun visor too..

That's interesting, the EB has a different visor? All the pics I could find look the same. Are you referring to the second fold down visor (to put down if the main one is on the side), or are you referring to an extra piece on the main visor?

My 02 Limited has the audio and climate controls on the steering wheel, which I really like, and have not seen on an Eddie Bauer. This is actually the main reason I wanted the Limited as opposed to the Eddie Bauer. Maybe some Eddie Bauers have this, but I have not seen one.

Not sure, i just read what you posted and noticed
the second blade. I do wish i had a second blade,
I seem to have the sun always on my side or
slightly in front..

Like Misky6.0 pointed out, the steering wheel with both radio and climate controls was included with the EB Premiere Group option. I have seen several that had this option including my '04.

I know now why I didnt see any. I only ever looked at 7.3s, and Eddie Bauer didnt arrive until 03, so there arent many 4x4 7.3s with the Eddie Bauer Premier Group. I prefer the solid color leather of the Limited.

My '05 EB has both visors. Must just be listed funny above.

You are right there aren't many 7.3 EB's out there. You think the 4x4 was hard to find, try looking for a 2wd 7.3 EB.

The power of searching. I always thought the EB was the most equipped. But, I do have to say, I think mine was originally ordered with every option available. So I have a limited with two tone, sweet!
