Sorry...the only picture that I could find of my work bench includes my other hobby.......my other outlet to get rid of spare time and money.
Anyway...years ago I scored a workbench top from a high school metal shop that was de-commissioned...it's laminated wood and has a lot of character. I built a frame from scrap steel that was high enough to allow me to fit a couple of cheap roll-away toolboxes under the bench.
I have lot's of shelves, work benches, lighting, and Tupperware "boxes" (for storing auto, truck, car, home electrical, home plumbing parts and even for various categories of tools such as masonry and A/C).
I recently scored approx 75' of 7' tall, 12" deep file shelves from my office. I'm hoping to be able to clear out my garage and sheds this summer and install the shelves.
That should go along way to clearing up a bunch of the crap I have scattered everywhere.
