Boost question

Ok so I installed the edge insight cts and have noticed I have never built more than 10psi in the boost gauge. I have a Turbo back exhaust and an afe cold air kit that I am in the process of switching back to OEM. No tunes and stock other than those two things any ideas? Thanks.

A mechanical gauge plumbed into the intake elbow would confirm if the CTS is displaying accurate information. But my first thought would be leaking CAC boots (how oily is the one by the turbo?) or stuck vanes. There are a couple of other items, but I'd be interested to know if your actually only creating 10psi of boost at all times...including WOT or trailer towing.

I lost max boost when my frame-mounted fuel module was weak / failed. The dealer changed out the module - but the pump is listed as a separate part # and I thinking that it would have been a lot cheaper for me to just change the pump out. You might check your fuel pressure before you tear into your turbo. -Mike
