Got the truck back from the shop the guy had parts of it in pieces, so now I have to put them back together. Pic 1 s some sort of linkage that i remember some how hooked up to the ip but i do not remember how it goes so it would be greatly appreciated if you could tell me what it is called and how to hook it back up.
Pic 2 what ever that is called, goes to the ip somehow i think, I traced it to the drivers side brake area, so if you could tell me how that hooks up and what it is that would be great.
Pic 3 Is a alternator we bought offline it is a 140amp alt. The guy said he cant tell if it works or not, it has one red wire coming out of the back, hooking up to the starter relay in (pic4) and thats it, only one red wire coming out the back no other wires or anything . Is this right? Didnt seem like he was too sure of himself when he was talking to us about it.
Ok thanks looks like I am missing parts, for the tranny linkage the wole piece where it connects to the linkage all the way down to the trottle. Is there anywhere I could purchase this ?
I think your right i have been looking around an all the new reman ip pics have the part.
Bought this one from pensecola, is my pump made for a e40d or something ?
Is it necessary for the linkage to be hooked up for the truck tor run /drive correctly ?
vacuum regulator valve. it is on the driver side of the pump, it has a vacuum line in from the vacuum tree ont he firewall, and a line out to the modulator valve on the trans.
in the second pic you can see it. it has the two lines on it.
a manual trans pump normally does not have provisions for a VRV.
