Replacement Computer
Hey I'm trying to replace my computer in my truck but Napa DOesn't have the part number that matches my computer...
OEM # E4EF-12A650-ABIA
I am wondering can I use other computers that go for ford 300 Six inlines with manual tranny...
ANyone have hints??

Check Ford and the other parts stores for an interchange list. A Ford computer is only $250, but I've priced remans at $170.
What year is your truck? That PN looks like an '84. Is that for the 1bbl feedback carb?

Ford won't tell me what other computers it could be unless I ordered one from them...I was hoping to find out what other computers may work with my truck
I found what NAPA shows on their page for the computer but the last four digits don't match..and talking to NAPA they contacted who they get the puter's from and they said that they don't have that part...

I have a spare computer in my '84 300-I6 w/ feedback with manual. I could give you a good deal on it if you want. i dont have the exact ##s for it until i look..
If you was you, unless you have to worry about emissions, go with the old style spark box with vacuum advance distributor. I never got my feed back to work right.

I did mine (check my signature link) for $1300 including oil, spark plugs, a belt, gas tank, fuel lines, air cleaner, Y-pipe, and all the wiring I needed for an OE setup. It's been running like a top for the past 5 years / 250,000 miles.
